Rebel 27 [Action | Written]
[Litchi is taking a rare day off from the clinic. Only it's not even really a full day; she's just stepping out for a while for some fresh air and a chance to actually check in on her housemates. Watching diligently over Tsubaki is still her top priority, of course, but she needs just a short break from the clinic.
So it's a quick trip back to House 48 first to look in on Tao and Thirteen and possibly get a bath. And some tea. It's been far too long since she was home long enough to really have a chance to sit with her "family" for a while.
Then from there, she'll be heading off to the library to grab some new reading material. There are several things she's been meaning to do some research on, and it's about time she got around to it. She'll be at the library for a few hours before heading back, pausing only to make a note in her journal:]

Could I speak with you two for a moment when I get back? Something has been brought to my attention that I think both of you need to be aware of as well.

And it takes him a while to make heads and tails out of the message filtered to him and he scrawls back a very messy reply: ]
Not at clinic. Subject?

Of course, I may just be jumping to conclusions, but I think it would be best if we just kept a close eye on her if she does decide to volunteer with us. [And kept her clear of the entire medicine supply for said syndrome.]

I see. Can you give me a description?

[The fact that she's seen the final effects of an obsession like this before makes her handwriting just a tad sloppier on the next part.] From what he was telling me, she's apparently fanatical about researching the Hinamizawa Syndrome and is infected as well. As I understood, it's set off her own hallucinations in the past and she's apparently done some particularly extreme things because of it back home.
[ written | locked ] sorry for lateness, lost the notif
[ written | locked ] No problem!

Hey there. Didn't expect you home so early, but this is a nice surprise.

Hmm. I could say the same to you. It seems like it's been ages since I last heard you play.
[Soft sigh. She settles in against the couch comfortably.] It is a little early, but I feel as if I haven't left the clinic in weeks. It's just nice to be home for a few moments.

I'm glad you're here to take a break, even if it's for only a little while. But, you know, if you'd like a little music... all you ever have to do is ask.
[Thirteen begins playing a subdued, relaxed tune. Unlike many of the songs he used to play, it's not melancholy, though.]
no subject
I don't think I've ever heard you play this song before. Something new you picked up?

Welcome back, meow!

Thank you. I have to admit, it's nice to be home. [Gently teasing tone.] You haven't been pestering David too much, have you?
no subject
...
Maybe. Tao doesn't know. [she honestly does not realize she annoys people sometimes.]
no subject
It's alright, Tao. I'm sure you've been fine. [Otherwise she's sure she would have heard about model planes being eaten by now.]
Besides, I'm sure it's been far too quiet around here lately. Certainly something you're very capable of fixing.

It's not actually somewhere Kida lurks or anything, but where else will he find a new copy of Anne of Green Gables to fawn over? Yes, he is there and... spots Litchi there. OH HM.]
Oooh- and who is this beautiful young scholar I see here? [He asked as she sat on a table in here while she was off a bit looking at titles on a shelf]
no subject
It's nice to see you again, Kida. Have you been well?
no subject
Much better now that I'm in the presence of a beautiful healer like Litchi-sensei.
no subject
That's very kind of you... but you know you don't need to lay on the flattery every time you see me, right~?
no subject
[Complete with a short laugh at the end here. That one was more obviously playful]
no subject
[Because she's sure you say the same thing to every girl in town, Kida.]
