[It's been a very long day. Litchi has been up since before dawn, tending to patients, straightening up the clinic, helping lost little boys, and overall working herself half to death. Only she's looking a ton more energetic than usual, and even as she's leaving the clinic for the night, she's still upbeat and smiling and cheerful.

No, she hasn't gotten into the drugs. Just before heading out to walk home, she'll open up her journal for a quick message.]

Well, it's certainly about time things returned to normal, don't you think? I've had more than enough excitement for quite some time.

Mr. Goroh, David, Miss Yayoi... make sure you're all home within an hour or so, okay? Just because Tao isn't home to eat all your food right now doesn't mean you can be late for dinner. I should be home soon; it won't take long to get back from the grocery store.

[When Goroh arrives home, he steps inside. He takes off his sunglasses and sets them inside his jacket. His jacket he hangs in the closet, setting his hat on a shelf. He still have his good old fashioned white T-Shirt, but something's different about Goroh...]

[Although still plenty muscular, he's no longer the walking tank he was before. He also looks significantly younger too, probably about age thirty. As he steps into the kitchen, he calls for Litchi.]

[The ladle is definitely dropped. And Litchi is so startled that she's almost backing into the stove here.]

[She'll just be fishing the ladle out of the soup over here. It's a welcome distraction from this... nicer, younger Goroh. She really doesn't know what to do when faced with something like this.]

I see. [He walks over to the soup and takes a look at the soup and smells it.]

It smells good. You've outdone yourself again.

[She unconsciously tenses up, reddening as he approaches... although it's gone rather quickly as it dawns on her that he doesn't smell like cigarettes. Usually, up this close, she'd be taking a step back from the overwhelming smoke smell.

She gives him an almost bewildered look.]

[He takes a step back, not sure what to make of how she's acting.]

You know, I'm off duty right now. Calling me Uesugi is fine.

[That makes two of them. She's really not sure what to make of this. On the one hand, she could definitely get used to this. On the other... what happened to the Mr. Goroh she's already used to?]

[She ducks her head shyly again and goes back to stirring the soup. Time to pull yourself together, Litchi. If it is just an experiment, there's no sense in weirding him out like this.]

[He ends up leaning up against the fridge, with his arms crossed, regarding her odd mannerisms with curiosity. He's seen that things are odd today. Was she affected too?]
