Rebel 5 [Action // Accidental Voice]

[Litchi's out for another one of her late-night walks. This time, though, she's not on the lookout for kitten-eating bug monsters; she's just out for a stroll. Enjoying the clean air and all. Almost idly, she's looking along the treeline for any bamboo, since it's been a while since she's spoiled Lao Jiu rotten.

As she reaches the bridge leading into the main area of town, she slows to a halt, hugging her coat in closer against her and looking skyward at the last few snowflakes drifting down.]

It really is beautiful here, isn't it, Lao Jiu...?

[Oh Miss Litchi. You're just as beautiful as the last time he saw you a few hours a go. MORE beautiful even! He's gonna mutter something barely realizing what he just said is audible.]

Oh, Miss Litchi~ you're the most delicate of delicate roses.

[Hearing any response was unexpected, but Litchi's even more surprised to hear Bang. Even more unexpected is why just hearing his voice is making her smile. She looks around, trying to spot him.]

Bang? Is that you?

Um, yes, it is me, Miss Litchi... But I'm afraid I'm not near you at the moment. I'm talking over the journals. [He see's you looking around! Dammit. It's even harder to talk to her than usual. Stop beating so fast, heart!]

[Soft, disappointed sigh. She hadn't even realized she'd gotten her hopes up to see him, but there she was, shoulders drooping slightly. Why was this suddenly so awkward?]

...I see. [Sheepish laugh.] You're actually just the person I was hoping to get a chance to talk to. Although I suppose it can wait if you're busy.

What? No! Not at all, Miss Litchi! I'd be happy to meet you.

[Miss Litchi wants to see HIM!? Oh man, he's so excited. He rushes off but then he remembers something, and comes back.]

Um... where are you exactly?

[Her tone brightens considerably.] I'll wait for you by the bridge leading into town.

I'll be there.

[And he is rushing like HELL to get there! Maybe even more than he usually. And usually he'd be trying to get there pretty fast. When he gets there, he's gonna hide behind a tree in order to catch his breath though. He can't just go rushing over there all out of breath like. After he's rested he's going to head up to the bridge]

You... wanted to see me, Miss Litchi?

[Litchi gives him a warm smile and walks to meet him halfway, cheeks flushed a light red.]

That I did. It's... wonderful to see you.

[After a few beats, she realizes she's just staring and smiling like some fool and gives a soft, apologetic cough.]

Oh! S-sorry. I, um... I... wanted to apologize. For the other day, I mean. I feel terrible for snapping at you like that.

[LFSFJEWLKJQ IT'S WONDERFUL TO SEE HIM!? H-has she ever greeted him so kindly before? Um. Um! Can't remember. And then he hears her apology. She really shouldn't be taking the blame for that]

B-but, Miss Litchi! The whole incident was from my wrong doing. You really shouldn't blame yourself for that.

[She shakes her head.] I still shouldn't have lost my temper; especially since you were only worried about me.

[Soft chuckle. Have some gentle teasing, Bang. ~~You only wish she'd forgotten what you said.~~]

It must be because I'm so delicate, hm~?

[FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-- USUALLY YOU DON'T NOTICE!]

Y-y-you HEARD that?!

[To her credit, she's not laughing. Just blushing a shade or so redder, her smile just a bit wider.]

It was... very poetic.

You... really think so? I am.. glad you enjoyed it, Miss Litchi.

[Small nod.] Of course. I'm flattered, really.

[She tucks a stray lock of hair behind her ear, unconsciously shifting in to stand closer to him. It is cold out here, and Bang seems a lot warmer.]

Was I not supposed to hear it?

I just didn't anticipate you hearing...

[Yes, he is warmer! He notices that shift and he's gonna shift a little closer to you too. The reason being, that you're obv pretty cold and a little more heat couldn't hurt. Yup, only reason]

Hmm. I'm glad I heard.

[Litchi stops just short of bumping into him, suddenly realizing just how close they've gotten. Somewhat nervous, but still not backing down, she hugs her arms to herself and peers up at him curiously.]

How in the world do you stay so warm out here?

I've found that it is easy to keep warm as long as you--

[Sneeze. Sniffles.]

have a determined spirit. Your body will not falter if you yourself does not believe it is cold. If I'm having trouble with that, a nice long run throughout town is a safe fall back option. [Such awesome logic right?]

[Awesome logic when you're not sneezing.]

Bang! You sound like you might be catching a chill!

[Frowning worriedly, she reaches up to check his temperature, pressing her hand to his forehead.]

You should come inside for a while rather than stay out in this cold...

[I-i-i-i-is her HAND on his forehead!? lkajsadfjkbwje. Ahhh~ it's so nice and soft. He's going to be slightly blushing, and maybe even trying to look away a bit. His head does feel warmer than it should normally though.]

I-I am sure it is nothing Miss Litchi! There is no need to worry yourself.

[Oh, no, she's not budging on this.]

Bang, you're starting to run a fever. I can't just let you stay out here, you need rest.

[Going right for the jugular and breaking out the Pleading Tone.]

Please; I just want you to stay healthy.

[DAMMIIIIIT. Well this is obviously a losing battle on Bang's part. And the cuute pleading tone basically sealed the deal here]

Thank you. It really will.

[And to show her gratitude for not resisting her advice, she'll lean up to give him a light kiss on the cheek.]

I'll even make you some tea. You'll be back on your feet before you know it.

[Sorry. Whatever willpower he once had in holding back his emotion with Litchi around is now gone. He let's out a soft "Oooh~" when she kisses his cheek. He's practically melting after that.]

Okaaay~~

[Blushing lightly, but otherwise perfectly confident, she takes Bang's hand to lead him back to his apartment. ~~Even though all she knows is it's in the same building as hers.~~]

Let's just get you home, alright~?
