[Litchi's out for another one of her late-night walks. This time, though, she's not on the lookout for kitten-eating bug monsters; she's just out for a stroll. Enjoying the clean air and all. Almost idly, she's looking along the treeline for any bamboo, since it's been a while since she's spoiled Lao Jiu rotten.

As she reaches the bridge leading into the main area of town, she slows to a halt, hugging her coat in closer against her and looking skyward at the last few snowflakes drifting down.]

It really is beautiful here, isn't it, Lao Jiu...?

[Not that she'll really accept a "no" now that she's got it in her head to make him this tea. Off she goes to raid the kitchen and fix him up a cup of medicinal tea. ~~Don't even ask where she's keeping the packet, it's probably in the same spot she stashed Ragna's wanted poster back home.~~]

I am not quite sure, Miss Litchi. Perhaps there is still a bit of Valentine's Day cheer lingering? I did notice that there was still quite a few people talking about it over the journals.

Hmm. Could be. Maybe Yao will set off some more fireworks.

[Ah, there's the water. She disappears back into the kitchen for a moment, coming back out a moment later with a lightly steaming cup of tea. She brings it over to him with a soft smile.]

If he does, I'd really love to be able to watch them with you this time.

R-r-r-really!?

Of course. I can't think of anyone I would rather be with.

[She holds the tea out for him to take.]

Which is why I need this fever of yours to break.

[Cheeks tinged pink, she gives a small nod.]

I can't imagine not feeling this way.

[Wait, wait, the fever! Don't get so sidetracked, Litchi!]

G-go on, you should drink that before it gets cold.

[And he's going to drink it all in one go which is a bad idea 'cause it's HOT! OW OW OW OW OW! Okay don't let Miss Litchi notice]

I'm glad you think so. It's... really not made for its flavor, but I try my best to make it taste alright.

She steps in close, reaching up to check his temperature again, just to be certain. ~~Totally no ulterior motives here. Not an excuse to be closer. Not at all.~~]

[The more he blushes, the more she does as well. Don't mind her gently brushing the hair out of his eyes as she stalls on pulling her hand away.]

[Aww, but the enthusiasm is so cute. Litchi takes her sweet time in pulling her hand away, cupping his cheek for a moment before trailing her fingertips down his jawline and finally letting go.

...Nobody ever accused her of not being straightforward. Although she does look a little surprised with herself for doing such a thing.]
