[The past few days have been terribly confusing for Litchi. The teleportation thing has left her far more shaken than she'd care to admit; falling out of a tree and having a close friend just confess to you will do that to a person.

She's almost desperately seeking a distraction, although being stuck at home isn't exactly making that easy. The best distraction she really has is reading, but... she's already worked through all the books she has.

After some time of fidgeting, she caves in to the urge to ask for advice. Because this... is really not something she's prepared to deal with on her own. Or rather, she's been trying to, and recent circumstances have finally made it clear to her that she really does need outside help.

Once she's made her note in her journal, she stashes it behind a couch cushion in a particularly shoddy attempt at looking inconspicuous and goes back to trying to focus on her book.]

[Locked from Samurai Goroh 100%]

I realize this is a bit of a strange question, but... [...]

[The second part of the message takes her some time to find the words for, so there's a bit of a delay before:]

Is it completely foolish to hold on to a hope that there doesn't seem to be any chance of ever achieving? Even if holding on to that hope is standing in the way of finding happiness some other way?

...Is there any way to make letting go of that hope any easier?

I think we could stand something of a celebration now that Miss Vermillion has recovered. Would anyone be up to coming over for dinner this weekend? I'll fix up a nice big meal. Any friend of mine or Miss Vermillion is certainly welcome. To be honest, I had planned to invite everyone over on the seventh, but... well, late is better than never, I suppose.

If there's anything specific anyone would like, just let me know and I'll be sure to have it ready for you.

[[ooc: WARNING: If your character does decide to come by for dinner, be forewarned that Litchi WILL be getting tipsy at some point. This means a significant risk of forced cosplay/her playing hairdresser/being completely fixated on eye color/whatever the mun thinks would be funny. :D;;]]

[It's rather obvious, from her weak and wobbly tone, that Litchi has been crying. A lot. It took her up until now to be able to find the words for this, let alone keep her voice steady enough, but here it is...]

Anyone who knew Mr. Goroh... I... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... he...

[Her voice cracks, but she's trying to stubborn though this.] He was killed. In the... the fight against Hazama.

I... I'm so sorry.

Hm... to anyone who knew Professor Kokonoe, it seems she's gone home. I'm certain this is better in the long run; after all, she never did like being away from her lab.

It was nice to see her again, though... It's a bit of a shame, but I suppose there's no helping it.

This house seems so quiet now... although I'm sure that won't last.
not_meatbuns: (Let's get down to business)
[Now that the Tease have finally trickled off... and the flaming trees aren't raining down anymore... and her canonmates aren't showing up with huge holes punched through them... Litchi finally has a chance to take a break. She sounds absolutely exhausted, but, to her credit, she's finally home instead of camping at the clinic.]

I know I offered to make dinner for everyone this weekend, but -- [Yawn.] -- I'm afraid I'm going to have to postpone it. I... don't think I quite have the energy...

Maybe... next weekend...

[And with that, she'll just be passing out asleep next to her journal. Which is wide open, so she'll probably still hear any answers. ♥]
not_meatbuns: (Hi Goroh~)
[It's definitely way too hot for the tastes of someone used to living on a very high mountaintop. Litchi isn't really enjoying this heat wave much at all. So, once she's gotten her work out of the way for the day, she's headed off to the lake in an attempt to cool down. Not that she has any plans on swimming, just relaxing in the shade. Maybe finally finishing that book she's been reading. A nice afternoon to herself; although she's fairly certain there will be plenty of other people who had the same idea as her for beating the heat.

Once she's out at the lake and had a chance to at least slightly cool off, she takes out her journal to ask something she's been meaning to get around to for a while now.]

[Written]

I think it's about time I got around to learning some magic from the Spirits here. Nala, specifically, if I remember what the guide said correctly. With the way things have been lately, it's becoming more and more obvious that I would be a much better help to the village if I learned some healing magic.

I suppose my question would be: Can anyone with experience contacting Nala let me know what to expect and how to make contact? Or any Spirit, for that matter. I'm afraid this is all new to me still.

Thank you all in advance for your help.
not_meatbuns: (you don't say)
Mr. Shishigami? I finished those meat buns I promised you. My door's open if you want to come pick them up.

There's some extra if anyone else would like any~ I suppose I'm just used to making more than I need, what with Tao... I'm afraid it'll have to be first come, first served, though.
