[With all the experiments and insanity at the clinic finally dying down, and the weather finally warming up (and not pouring rain), it's time for a break. Litchi has been looking forward to this trip for months, and finally having her chance to get out of the house and have some time alone with David is a huge relief.

Even though she can see the rainclouds starting to build up on the horizon, this is still their chance to get out for a day or two. And hopefully this time will not end in fiery sneezes.

What better destination for a romantic day off than the hot springs?]

Well, I met Sensei earlier when I first arrived here - or well, shortly thereafter. [He leaps back up onto the bench now, crouching down into a position again to the icon, balancing it effortlessly. And he grins] We've had some other fateful encounters since, of course! Though, I suppose, none as fateful as this one, where I learn that the idol of all the boy's attention has affections of her own... aaah, I wonder if I am late to the story or if I shall be the harbinger of all of out despairs?

[He says this lack part with a mock-regretful tone]

[With a mock gasp, he "falls forward" on the bench, briefly looking like he'll face plant, but at he last moment he shoots his legs out and then straightens up back into a standing position]
