Rebel 31 [Action!]

[Tonight, Luceti. Tonight, Litchi is out for an ~*adventure*~. An adventure starting from the bar and slowly working its way out around the village.

...She's definitely had a little too much to drink tonight.

After spending some time in the Good Spirits Bar, harassing other customers, she'll eventually find her way out into the cold night, set on an adventure. Dragging along one David Jordan, and probably also plenty of other people along the way.

But it's not an adventure unless they're dressed for it, right~?]

[Okay, the sudden hug is startling and he has to shift his weight in his chair to make sure it doesn't fall over, but he's fine and smiles. He returns the hug, lighter though.

...Well, why not? Play it for all it's worth, including lightly pushing up the brim of the hat.]

Aw shucks, ma'am. Y'all outdid yerself.

[asldkjalskd. Cue hysterical laughter. Tears are even brimming in her eyes.

Unfortunately for her future self, though, her brain/mouth filter is deactivated. And so, she just lets it slip without even thinking:]

Ahh... David, I love you. You always make everything so much fun~

[...Yeeeah, that would've been better left for when you're not a raving drunk, Litchi.]

[Well, for what it's worth, Litchi's drunken, loopy tone is tough to read seriously. Thirteen knows she's hit the sauce kind of hard, so... initially he thought to write it off, but...

Something nagged at him. Was it just the alcohol talking and making her exaggerate? ...Or was it more than that? After everything that had happened with them lately. The mountains, Christmas, New Years, even just day to day living, there was no doubt the two had become much closer and more affectionate than before. Whatever attraction they had for each other was definitely mutual; he could feel that much. And he could feel more than just that.

It was love. This was a feeling he could tell had been building for awhile now. Her smile, her charm and spirit, and everything else. And after all they had been through together. He couldn't help it, he supposed. And he doesn't regret it in the slightest.

...But telling her how he felt should wait. Wait until she's sober and in her right mind. Even if she was only exaggerating due to the alcohol right now. He couldn't be sure about her intent, but he's probably overthinking things.

Ultimately, he'll just play along for now.]

I try.

[Some small corner of her mind, still capable of maintaining some voice of reason, was suddenly panicking. Why did she have to go and say that now? Of all times to tell him...

It's enough to make her let go of him and straighten up in her seat, but she's still laughing a bit under her breath. The alcohol is doing wonders for getting in the way of her worrying process.]

I'll just have to see if I can find another one of those hats, hm~? I'd hate to ruin the look for you.

With your talent for finding these things, I have no doubt you could.

[Smile.] Do you think~? Maybe I could check the clothes shop...

Good plan, I think. Maybe if you get really lucky, you'll find one in red.

[Ohgod, that just made her light up even more.] That would be great~!

[She grabs a hold of his hands excitedly.] We should go look~!

[...Hm. She's in one of her cosplay moods, obviously. It might distract her from costuming other people, for now, at least. Of course, it'd be giving her more ammo too, but... knowing Litchi, she has enough costumes to take on half the village as it is.]
