Well, it seems the the space issue has resolved itself. We've found a house that, even if more people from back home do show up, we'll have plenty of room in. [Although it's Tager she's mainly worried about; house or no, he would still take up a huge amount of space.]

Hopefully this will solve our issue with New Feathers appearing in the tub... Although I suppose I'll find out once the incoming numbers pick up again soon.

So, from now on, I'll be living in House 48. I think I might fix up a housewarming dinner later on this week, if anyone is interested.

Good. So, I trust things have been going well since we spoke at the lake?

They... well, they've been rather busy, to be honest. [As in she's had three gaping wounds to stitch in the past two weeks, attempted escapes from patients, and an attack from one Jin Kisaragi, but those are details probably best left unsaid.] Things seem to be calming down, but hopefully I'm not speaking too soon.

People here always finding ways to get themselves hurt, I guess. I hope it all calms down for you sooner rather than later.

Everything's been quiet for me. Just the same old things for the past few days. So that's good news. ...And I did manage to get a small barbeque grill from the store the other day. Should be easy enough to take to the lake if we arrange an outing.

We really should arrange for something once the weather is a little less unpredictable. A cookout at the lake sounds like fun.

It does. Can't let that beautiful scenery go to waste out there. Especially not if the weather's good during the summer. If we're going to be here, might as well enjoy the little things.

My thoughts exactly. There's not exactly any chance to experience nature like this back home, at least for me. It's best to enjoy it while we can.

You said you lived up on a mountaintop? Probably tough to get down to lower elevations at some points in the year, I'd imagine.

Actually... it's not safe to leave the higher elevations at all, let alone in any particular season. The lower areas of our world are covered in a fog that's very poisonous in large concentrations.

...It really does make the nature here quite a nice change of pace, though, I have to admit.

I'm sorry to hear that. Was the fog a result of pollution or something?

It's... a very long story, I'm afraid. But to put it simply, it was an aftereffect of a war we only just recently got out of.

There may be thousands of other universes out there... but the only thing that never seems to change is war.
