April first already... how time flies.

This will be the third year since then, won't it? I wonder if he would even remember me anymore. Maybe the professor was right... maybe I should just let go and move on. Some days, I feel like I could, but others... haven't I come too far to turn back now? Am I foolish for clinging to hope like this?

I'll be just fine. Everything is healing the way it's supposed to. [But she's still got plenty of bullet and slash wounds, although only Tao and Bang and maybe a couple people at the clinic have seen the full extent of it. Allow her to play this down to soothe any worries.]

I was lucky enough to have a friend nearby that came to help, so it's nowhere near as bad as it could have been.
