So the battle is starting this weekend, isn't it? [Why is it half the people she knows are drafted?] ...Everyone, please, be careful.

[Litchi is cooking today. A lot. It's part stress relief, part Welcome Home Tao. She's got far too much pent up negative energy and feels the need to do something with it -- guilt trips built up from Dragobete, worry over everyone heading off to war, anger towards the Malnosso... it all has built up into a need to cook up an obscene amount of food. Not to mention Tao's arrival; with the Kaka girl around again, Litchi has no doubt that every bit of the food she makes will end up eaten.

But even with Tao, there's still far more than necessary. Anyone in or around Community Building 2 is free to come by and find out what's cookin'. There's a ridiculous amount of Chinese food here and it needs eating. ♥]

Hey, Scruffy Man!

[Between Bang yelling and Tao being Tao, Litchi's been drawn back from the kitchen. And she's looking pretty irritated.]

What was all that yelling just now?

[Damn. He's never seen Litchi look this pissed.]

Bang's got a short temper. Guess I should go easy on the big guy.

SHORT TEMPER!?

Meow, if you guys are gonna play, Tao wants to join in!

Nobody is "playing", Tao! And you two!

[Oh god, the Litchi!fury. She's drawn herself up to her full height, her hands on her hips, her eyes dark with anger. She knows full well, just from getting to know Goroh, that he's not fully innocent either. After all, Bang isn't the sort to go from behaving himself to carrying on like this for no reason.

And so, both Goroh and Bang get a swift knock on the head each.]

You "oughta" nothing, Bang! And Mr. Goroh, I know you must have said something to get him this irritated; don't act so innocent!

[Dammit. Friend or not, nobody knocks Goroh on the head. He'll be standing up, knocking his chair down in the process. His hand twitches, wanting to reach for his sword, but he stops himself. He'd definitely be outnumbered if it came to a fight. This is normally a situation where he'd want his men to back him up. He glances at each one of them, anticipating for any one of them to strike at any moment. That kind of treachery wouldn't surprise him at all.

... but he'll play it cool. Talk his way out of the situation.] I never claimed to be innocent, Litchi. I called Bang out for what he is. I don't make any apologies for that.

[Owie. Holding his head now. That huuuurrrtt ;____;]

I apologize Miss Litchi.

[Oh and you can bet Bang is gonna jump up just as quickly]

Ooooh THAT'S IT! I am sorry, Miss Litchi, but I cannot stand this man a minute longer!

LET'S GO.... [Wait what's his name? ...Ah, he remembers.] YOU! One on one, mano a mano, ninja against swordsman, dragon against wolf, rival vs. rival--

[And he's going to keep going on like this]

[And Litchi plants herself between them solidly, glaring at them both.]

[Goroh silently glares as Bang delivers his ultimatum, his hand on his sword. If not for Litchi stepping between the two, he'd probably take the fight to Bang right there and now. He begins to draw his blade, ready to simply sidestep her and settle things now.

But then he thinks better of it and reaches inside his jacket...]

How about we settle this like civilized men instead. [And he pulls out... playing cards.]

.... Playing cards?

[Huuuh. What does that have to do with settling this like civilized men!? Oooh now he gets it. He'll cross his arms.]

Ahh, I see. We shall go to the top of the Community Building and throw down the deck of cards. Whoever can catch the most before hitting the ground shall be declared the winner of the competition. Very clever. I did not expect for someone like YOU to be able to come up with such a way to handle this disagreement.

I accept your challenge.

[...Alright, now she's not sure if she should just sigh in relief or facepalm.]

[Give him a moment to process that stupid plan.]

... don't be stupid. We'll play poker.

Poker? I was expecting something a little more diverse than just regular poker...

BUT FINE! If that's how you want it we shall play! What is the bet?

[She's glad they aren't in an all-out brawl, but Litchi is still a little iffy on this. Don't mind her waiting quietly to see what they do before she makes up her mind what to do with them.]

How about this for a bet. I'll make it nice and easy.

If you win, I'll leave Litchi alone. If I win, you have to leave me alone. Sound fair to you?

[Alright, this is just ridiculous. She crosses her arms.]

Oh, no, no, it's not a deal yet.

If I win, you two have to drop this absurd rivalry of yours.

[Goroh grins.] Sounds like we have a game, then.

[He'll upright his chair, sit down, and start moving some of the food on the table off to the side so he can deal.]

[Hmmm. He didn't think MISS LITCHI would get involved... But no matter!

HE DOESN'T PLAN TO LOOOOOOOOOSE]

[Your innocent Miss Litchi is a fiend at poker, Bang. And that would be why you're losing all your ~~chips~~ meat buns.

You don't work for Kokonoe for any period of time without learning how to keep a carefully calm expression, after all.]

[Goroh is still in the game though. He's surprised that Litchi still is, though. He's no card shark, but he figured he'd wipe the floor with both of them. Oh well, he still has meatbuns left to gamble with.]

[N-NOOOO! HOW CAN THIS BEEEEEE! He's lost all of his meatbuns to gamble with! Th-this is not fair! He could've sworn he had more to gamble with a second ago. Unless... THIS IS ALL TAO'S FAULT!]
