Rebel 24 [Action/Written]
[Early this morning, before the sun has really broken through the thick clouds outside, Litchi starts awake. Absolutely everything aches terribly, but she's alive. Every breath is rattling slightly and her lungs aren't terribly cooperative, but they're working. Not that she actually remembers dying, but... the last thing she can remember is Noel approaching her in the woods and then everything went black. And she knows it can't have been good.
...Oh, god, Noel. She has to be alright, right? She... she couldn't have...
Litchi tries to get a look around herself, but all she can tell is that she's in a bed somewhere. And there's someone next to her, but without her glasses, she can't make out any details. But this feels familiar... whoever it is, she has a feeling it's someone she knows.
But, as much as she wants to try to slip away and make sure Noel wasn't harmed, she also doesn't want to wake up her slumbering companion. Especially considering that she can't see at all; she knows she wouldn't get far. But oh god, what if...
No, no. Panicking won't do any good. Just calm down, wait for a good chance to slip away. Even though Litchi isn't sure how far her legs will carry her with how achey and watery they feel.
...Just where is she, anyhow? Where are her glasses? Lao Jiu? And... why can't she sense the Boundary at all anymore?]
[And later on, once she's had a chance to get her bearings, Litchi makes a note in her journal. Her handwriting is much sloppier than it usually is, but she really couldn't trust herself to make it through with a steady voice, so... written it is.]
Everyone... I don't think I can ever apologize enough for what happened. I never meant for it to go so far.
I can promise that it will never happen again.
i'm so sorry.

Just tell me where to go, and I'll be there in a bit.

Anyway, give him about 20 minutes to finally show up because of unforeseen circumstances that made him not sprint around like the beast he can be. Or whatever. He's showing up, and that's what counts. So here he is, not saying so much as a word.
He likes to stare to break the ice.]
[Action]
Litchi waits for him to make some sort of greeting for a moment. And coughs. Well, then. She can take the first step...]
Ragna, I... I'm so sorry.
[Action]
Are you an idiot?
[Action]
I know it seems foolish, but I had my reasons for obtaining that power. And up until just a few weeks ago, it was completely under control.
[Action]
Who the hell cares whether or not it was under control for however long you had it? It wasn't gonna stay that way forever, and it sure as hell didn't!
[Action]
No... it wasn't going to stay that way forever. And I was fine with that knowledge. I thought.... I thought I'd be able to find a cure before it got so far.
[She runs a hand through her hair, realizing now just how foolish all of this sounds.] ...I never meant to put anyone in danger.
[Action]

[Action]
No, I... I couldn't do it. I thought if I couldn't find a cure, then killing him would be the only answer, but... I just... I couldn't do it.
[Action]
Do you remember when I kicked you out of my apartment after healing Tao?
[Action]
...I remember. It was difficult to focus then, but... I remember.
[Action]
[Action]
Although... I have to admit, I'm not sure how you knew about the exact effect the Boundary was having on me.
[Action]
[Action]
[Her expression is the perfect blend of confusion and worry.] What happened?
[Action]
[Action] 1/3
[Action] 2/3
He had known far too much. And while she had to admit she was a little curious how he had found out, she also knew full well that she wanted nothing to do with that man. Why in the world would she have changed her mind...
...Why in the world does she ever change her mind about things like that? It all always boils down to the exact same cause. She knows she never acts reasonably when faced with anything concerning him. And with people in Luceti arriving from various points in time... Ragna and Noel must have both come from some timeline where Hazama had pushed the Arakune Button. If he knew about the research... then he absolutely had to have known about Lotte and what he had become.
And just knowing this -- and knowing that even now, she would probably still lose all rationality and do the same thing -- is making her feel sick.]
