Rebel 24 [Action/Written]
[Early this morning, before the sun has really broken through the thick clouds outside, Litchi starts awake. Absolutely everything aches terribly, but she's alive. Every breath is rattling slightly and her lungs aren't terribly cooperative, but they're working. Not that she actually remembers dying, but... the last thing she can remember is Noel approaching her in the woods and then everything went black. And she knows it can't have been good.
...Oh, god, Noel. She has to be alright, right? She... she couldn't have...
Litchi tries to get a look around herself, but all she can tell is that she's in a bed somewhere. And there's someone next to her, but without her glasses, she can't make out any details. But this feels familiar... whoever it is, she has a feeling it's someone she knows.
But, as much as she wants to try to slip away and make sure Noel wasn't harmed, she also doesn't want to wake up her slumbering companion. Especially considering that she can't see at all; she knows she wouldn't get far. But oh god, what if...
No, no. Panicking won't do any good. Just calm down, wait for a good chance to slip away. Even though Litchi isn't sure how far her legs will carry her with how achey and watery they feel.
...Just where is she, anyhow? Where are her glasses? Lao Jiu? And... why can't she sense the Boundary at all anymore?]
[And later on, once she's had a chance to get her bearings, Litchi makes a note in her journal. Her handwriting is much sloppier than it usually is, but she really couldn't trust herself to make it through with a steady voice, so... written it is.]
Everyone... I don't think I can ever apologize enough for what happened. I never meant for it to go so far.
I can promise that it will never happen again.
i'm so sorry.

So, come on. Why can't you say anything? Is writing easier? Not even. The words won't come this time. But she needs to write something, so...]
Miss Litchi[Too bad she quickly scribbles that out and proceeds to close the journal. Later. Yes. She'll talk to Litchi later when she knows what to say.
Which will be soon. Obviously.
...Shit.]

i'm so sorry.
[Written | Filtered]
...Miss Litchi...]
Please don't feel guilty.
[Written | Filtered]
I'm sorry.
[Written | Filtered]
If I wasn't there the other day, none of this would have happened.
[Written | Filtered]
None of this is your fault.
[Written | Filtered]
If I wasn't there it would not have happened so soon.
[Written | Filtered]
There wasn't any stopping it. And I honestly don't know how long it would have been before it came down to the same end -- it could have been hours or weeks.
If I had just warned you and Ragna, I at least could have kept you both out of danger.

Please don't apologize
I don't blame you for this.
I knowI [...] don't want you to be hurt any more than you already have been.I'm so sorry about all of this.
[Written | Filtered]
Miss Vermillion, I obtained that power myself of my own free will. Any hurt caused was my own doing. I knew what I was getting into. [Guess who still doesn't know you saw her memories. Just guess.]
There's nothing to apologize for.
[Written | Filtered]
But a while does pass before she writes something again.] If you were worried, I have Lao Jiu with me.
[Written | Filtered]
Yes, David told me. Thank you for taking care of him.
[Written | Filtered]
You're welcome. [...]
Would you likeShould I bring him over? [She's scared, but Lao Jiu is her panda. It wouldn't feel right to keep him here any longer with his owner possibly in need of him. Even if she loves him so very much.]
[Written | Filtered]
[Even though she's not sure she would even be able to bring herself to look the girl in the eye.]
[Written | Filtered]
Okay. I'll drop him off as soon as I can.
[...Fortunately, soon might be a little longer than anticipated.
aka NOT TODAY][Written | Filtered]
